Photography and photographers...

If you have already spent some of your time on this blog you will probably know who I am.
When I say "Who I am" I mean who I really am, because I'm not only a dreadhead with a blog.

                                     This is me

Photography is not only a passion,
It represents my father as a photographer and as such an important person in my life.
It represents my granparents who always believed in me and gave me my first camera as a gift.
It represents my perseversance and all my sacrifices.
It represents every day I spent busking to have the money to travel.

It represents

The places I saw

The adventures I lived.

I'm thankful for all the sunsets

For all the people I met

And for who I haven't met yet.

Some of the photos I collected during the past two years

If you liked them (I hope you did) you need to check them out on Facebook or Instagram

I'm sorry for "spamming" part, I prefer the creative part too.
I found and lost myself in the photos I make, this is so beautiful. I've never felt like this before.
Do you know that feeling when you live "here and now", you are the moment, you are everything and everything is you, don't you?
Well, if you don't, stop whatever you are doing and begin to live your life as you want it to be.
Don't let anyone tell you that You can't do it.
Forget about career, money, people's opinion, and ask to yourself "How do I feel?"... and remember that if there is someone who can change your reality, that person is YOU.
Let's live in freedom and peace, let's make friends and contemplate the sunset, let's live every moment.

A new adventure!

A week ago I had the chance to participate in a photography project organized by Let me italian you (Let me italian you - facebook page), a cultural association specialized in creating projects in Italy and abroad.

I spent 5 days in Barcelona with my imagination and my camera.
This experience has changed my attitude with people and with photography, so now I can say it has been important for me as a person and as a photographer.
I made new friends, talented people who live their lives in happiness and creativity, because having a passion in common can create connections between people.
Photo by Maria Shibanova (instagram: @ma_ria_mirabella)
I learned how to shoot in a studio and I took my first shots...

... good shots, thanks to the beautiful model and all the amazing people I had the chance to work with.
I walked around the city with the camera in my hands and I saw Barcelona...

            and black and white

thanks to incredible photographers who showed and shared their passion with us, they made me realize photography is not all about the camera, but it's about people, feelings and the strength of seeing the world as a combination of wonderful details.
I spent everyday doing what I love and what makes me happy, so people were smiling at me and I was smiling at them.
If you will be reading this and you were with me during these days I want to say thank you from the depth of my heart for being such an inspiration for me and keep going because you're doing amazing things. You made my experience worthy to be done!
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about check the links above to see the brilliant shots which will be posted soon on facebook and remember to stay focused on your passions and on what you love because you will feel happy with yourself and with your life.
It's not about staying positive, it's about BEING positive and you will live as you want to live, you will live a life that represents you!

The past made me stronger

The past made me stronger  is the first video of (I hope) many others!
I spoke about something really important and difficult for me, I felt uncomfortable for a long time, but I finally had the courage to talk about it.
I'm so excited to share with you my journey and transition from the who I was to the fit and healthy person I want to be.
I hope it will help me to stay focused on what I want to achieve and to help and inspire others to never give up on their dreams and stay positive in every situation.
I know it is hard, it may will take a long time to happen, but I promise we will make it together!

So watch the video, leave a comment below and make sure to subscribe!
Bye, cute humans.

Vegan problems

This post was ispired by the lovely youtuber Kiera Rose

As a vegan I went though some ethical problems and annoying questions, so here's a list of my top 5 vegan problems.

1. When friends and family are not vegan and you have to struggle with the food they maky for you.
Let me explain. People I know usually understand what veganism is, but I can't avoid people arking if I can eat fish or cheese and the answer is NO I DON'T and I DON'T WANT TO.

2. Most of the people call vegans "maniacs" because we care about the quality of food and we read the ingriedients before buying something.
Personally it is something that freaks me out because caring about our health and about what we put in our about is not obsessive behavior, it is natural.

3. The B12 vitamin. I think the most annoying question is about vitamins. You would talk about animal right and health, but the only thing people can mention is your supposed shortage of B12.

4. Something I have to deal with is finding good avocados in the shop. In most of countries where veggies and fruit like avocados, mangos and papayas need to be imported the quality is not the best.
When I travel abroad and I eat incredibly delicious veggies and fruit is like christmas.

5. Recipes. In the last few months I discovered how easy to make and delicious are vegan recipes.
Being vegan is also eating healthy and being aware of your body and your soul. Internet is such a good source of information and new recipes to try, I recommend as a good vegan community the app VeganAmino where everyone can share tips and homemade recipes with the vegan community, incredible how useful is!
Let's try new recipes and feel comfortable with food!
(Search Greenish Minds on VeganAmino)

That's it, after this short list make sure to subscribe my channel (Greenish Minds) for new videos about veganism, self-love, travel and dreadlocks (the channel is growing up, more videos soon, help it to grow).

Spread the vegan message and spread your happiness all around!

From Barcelona, with love.

Who's never been in an art gallery will never understand the poetry of the atmosphere.

Watching art, breathing art and walking though art.

Falling in love with a colour,
with a smile in a painting,
with a sight,
with a face...

... with someone who lived years and years ago.

You see the magnificence of someone looking at you though a century.

In an art gallery you find yourself,
you find out what you love,
what makes you feel something, you know?

But in Barcelona you can't escape art.
Art is everywhere... in every single little stone.

Maybe is the sangria speaking,
but I see colours.
Don't you?

I see colours in the light.

I see colours in the dark.

I see the beauty in nature...

...and in architecture.

I see the bubbles.

I see the people.

And I've never felt home more than this.

As I promised this is the illustrated story of my trip in Barcelona.
If you're asking all photos are mine and there is a piece of heart in all of them.
Barcelona was amazing, full of art, culture and colours... It couldn't be better for a happy and curious person like me.

Why I started this blog

After a few posts I wanted to talk about the reasons why I started this blog.
"I was not used to happiness", this is the reason, not that obvious, so let me explain.
I spent most of my life struggling with my dissatisfaction and my pessimism so I've lost a lot of wonderful things from my teenage years: the first kiss, the first trip without parents, hanging out with friends all night. These experiences just flipped away and one of my biggest regrets is I didn't enjoy them, I didn't find any beauty in what I did.
Luckily, better late than never, I realized there is such plenty of beauty in life.
I started taking care of myself, studying more and appriciate everything life would give to me. I kept my eyes opened and I discovered what being a child feels like, so everything around me looked new and magnificent again.
Nowadays I find almost everything which surround me incredibly stunning and it makes me really happy.
We are close to the end, don't worry.
During the last years I joined many communities (vegan, for the animal rights, volunteering, artistic...) which welcomed me with joy and let me feel at home, so I had an idea: why not create a HAPPY COMMUNITY.
A "place" where people can share their passions, what makes them happy.
I'm also thinking about starting a youtube channel with the same aim, interviewing everybody want to share something which makes him/her happy.
I would like to share with you a quote from one of the most touching movie I've ever seen: "Happiness is real only when shared" (Into the wild).
Let's share our happiness and let's be happy together.

Please, If you read this post, comment below (anonymously too, I don't mind, but do it). It would mean a lot for me to read what you think.
Thank you so much.
